We are prepared to assist our clients at any hospital. However, for childbirth, we recommend choosing one of the following hospitals: Clínica Alemana, Clínica Dávila, UCC, Universidad de Los Andes, CLC, Santa María, or Indisa.
More About Hospitals in ChileThese steps can be completed by yourself or with our support:
1. Arrive in Chile with or without a visa (as of 2021, it does not matter according to the decision of the Supreme Court of Chile; if desired, the newborn will be a Chilean citizen).
2. Rent a house through us or using services like airbnb.com or mercadolibre.cl
3. Visit several hospitals to choose the one where you will give birth.
4. Obtain a preliminary budget from the hospital’s international or financial department and make the payment (sometimes a deposit of 150% of the delivery cost is required).
5. Give birth, get the child’s RUT (tax identification number) in the hospital, and then complete the paperwork for the child’s citizenship at the municipal office.
